Privacy Policy
Effective July 26, 2026
1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy explains how SpeedScale LLC ("SpeedScale," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you. SpeedScale is a mobile app studio that designs, develops, publishes, and operates mobile applications, in some cases in partnership with creators and influencers.
This is a single, general policy that applies to:
- Our website at speedscaleapp.co (the "Site"); and
- All mobile applications published, operated, or distributed by SpeedScale, now or in the future (each an "App," and together with the Site, the "Services").
Individual Apps differ in the features they offer, so not every category of information described below is collected by every App. Where we say we "may" collect or use information, it means that collection happens only where the relevant App or feature actually uses it. If a specific App has a supplemental privacy notice, that notice applies in addition to this policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you have questions at any time, contact us at speedscaleteam@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. Depending on the App and the features you use, we may collect:
- Account information — some Apps offer optional accounts. If you create one, we may collect information such as your name or username, email address, and profile details you choose to add.
- User-generated content — some Apps let you create, upload, or share content (for example, text, images, audio, or video). We collect the content you submit.
- Communications — if you contact us for support or feedback, we collect the contents of your message and your contact details.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Device information — such as device model, operating system and version, language, and app version.
- Device identifiers — such as platform-provided identifiers used for analytics or, where applicable, advertising.
- Usage data — such as the features you use, screens you view, session length, and general interaction patterns.
- Crash and diagnostic data — such as crash logs and performance data that help us find and fix problems.
- Approximate location — some Apps may infer your approximate location (for example, from your IP address or device region settings) to provide localized content or comply with regional requirements. We do not collect precise GPS location unless an App clearly requests that permission for a specific feature.
Information from app store platforms. When you make a purchase or subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, we may receive limited transaction information (such as a transaction identifier, product purchased, and subscription status) so we can deliver what you bought. See Section 6 for details.
3. How We Use Information
We may use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including delivering App features and content;
- Create and manage optional accounts and authenticate users;
- Process and deliver in-app purchases and subscriptions and verify entitlements;
- Understand how the Services are used so we can improve them, fix bugs, and develop new features;
- Diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and keep the Services stable and secure;
- Send push notifications, where you have allowed them, and other service communications;
- Respond to your support requests and feedback;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our legal rights.
We may also use information that has been aggregated or de-identified — so it no longer identifies you — for any lawful purpose, such as analytics and business reporting.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where laws such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Services you have requested, such as operating an App, managing your account, and delivering purchases;
- Legitimate interests — to improve and secure the Services, understand usage, prevent fraud, and run our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent — where required, such as for certain tracking, advertising identifiers, or optional permissions; you can withdraw consent at any time; and
- Legal obligation — where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — we work with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, analytics providers, crash-reporting tools, customer support tools, and push-notification delivery. They may access information only as needed to perform their services and are required to protect it.
- App store platforms — Apple and Google process your purchases and subscriptions under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Creator partners — some Apps are operated in partnership with creators or influencers. We may share aggregated or de-identified information only (such as overall download, usage, or revenue statistics) with these partners. We do not share information that identifies you personally with creator partners.
- Legal reasons — we may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SpeedScale, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — if SpeedScale is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of some or all of its assets (including individual Apps), information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.
6. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Payment Data
In-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions in our Apps are billed by Apple (through the App Store) or Google (through Google Play), not by SpeedScale. Your payment details — including your card number, billing address, and payment credentials — are collected and processed by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We never receive your full payment card number.
We may receive limited, non-payment transaction data from the platforms, such as a transaction or receipt identifier, the product purchased, purchase date, and current subscription status, so that we can unlock the content or features you paid for and provide support. To manage or cancel a subscription, use the subscription settings in your Apple or Google account.
7. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
We use analytics and crash-reporting tools in our Apps and on the Site to understand usage and keep the Services reliable. These tools may collect device identifiers, usage data, and diagnostic data as described in Section 2.
On iOS, if an App would track your activity across other companies' apps or websites — for example, for advertising or ad measurement — that App will first request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the App will not track you in that way. Not all of our Apps request this permission; it appears only where the relevant App actually uses tracking.
You can also limit ad-related identifiers through your device settings: on iOS, in Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking (and Apple Advertising); on Android, in Settings under Privacy > Ads, where you can delete or reset your advertising ID.
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy: for as long as you have an account or actively use the Services, and afterwards only as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain security records. Retention periods vary by data type — for example, crash logs and analytics data are typically retained for shorter periods than account records. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration — such as encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for any account you create and let us know right away at speedscaleteam@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information (see Section 11);
- Portability — receive certain information in a portable format;
- Objection and restriction — object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
These rights include those provided under the GDPR for users in the EU/UK and under applicable US state privacy laws for residents of certain states. We do not sell personal information. Where an App discloses device identifiers to advertising partners in a way that qualifies as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under applicable US state privacy laws, you can opt out at any time by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, using the device ad-privacy settings described in Section 7, or emailing us at speedscaleteam@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and where the law provides for it, you may appeal a decision we make about your request.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at speedscaleteam@gmail.com from the address associated with your account (or with enough information for us to verify your identity and locate your data). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Push notifications. Push notifications are optional. You can turn them off at any time in your device's notification settings, or within an App's settings where available.
11. Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:
- In the App — where an App offers accounts, look for an account-deletion option in the App's settings; or
- By email — send a request to speedscaleteam@gmail.com with the name of the App and the email address or username associated with your account.
When we process a deletion request, we delete or de-identify the personal data associated with your account, except for limited information we are required or permitted to retain — for example, records needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or complete transactions you have requested. Data held by Apple or Google in connection with your purchases is governed by their policies, and copies of data in routine backups are deleted on our normal backup cycle.
12. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at speedscaleteam@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it. Where local law sets a higher age for consent to data processing, we apply that higher age.
13. International Data Transfers
Our Services are available internationally, and the information we collect may be stored and processed in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers — such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms — to protect your personal information wherever it is processed.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we launch new Apps or features, or when the law changes. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate, such as an in-app message or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Services after an update means the revised policy applies to you. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
